Refund policy
The short version: there are none
You pay once. Your pet takes the throne. Somebody else pays $1 more and takes it from you. You are not refunded when your pet is dethroned. That is not a bug, a technicality or a surprise — it is the entire game, and it is why the crown costs a dollar instead of a subscription.
What you are buying
Not a period of time. Not a guaranteed number of visitors. You are buying the throne, from the moment your pet appears on it until someone outbids you — which may be 10 minutes from now or never.
What you keep permanently, whatever happens: your owner number, and your pet's place in the royal history with their photo, name, bio, link and the price you paid. That page does not expire. Nobody can dethrone the past.
The one guarantee
Every pet holds the throne for at least 10 minutes. During that window the crown cannot be bought by anyone, at any price. Time to see it, screenshot it, and send it to someone. After the timer runs out, a hamster may depose your golden retriever at any second.
When you are not charged
These are handled automatically, and no money leaves your account:
- Somebody buys the crown while you are paying. The order is refused before it is captured. You are not charged. Refresh and fight for the new price.
- The protected window starts while you are paying. Same thing — refused, not captured, not charged.
- The payment fails or you close the window. Nothing is captured, nothing is stored, no reign is created.
Your card is authorised first and only charged once the crown is confirmed yours, so an outbid buyer sees the authorisation disappear rather than a charge followed by a refund. In the rare case where money moves and the crown does not, the site records it as owed and it is refunded by hand. If you paid and did not get a claim link, write to support@mypetisking.com and quote your receipt.
When you are refunded
One case only: your reign was erased by us for breaking the house rules. Your content is removed and your payment is refunded to the card it came from.
This is not a way out of a purchase you regret. A refund is issued when we remove your content — not when you change your mind, not when you are dethroned quickly, and not when the throne got less attention than you hoped.
Not refundable
- Being dethroned, at any speed, after the protected window.
- Not getting the visits, clicks or attention you expected.
- Changing your mind, uploading the wrong photo, or a typo in your bio. The claim form is shown to you before it is submitted and warns you that it only works once — check it there. If something is wrong afterwards, write to support@mypetisking.com and a human will fix it; that is a correction, not a refund.
Payments
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, who are considerably better at that than we are. This site never sees or stores your card details. Prices are in US dollars. The price is set on the server at the moment you start the order, so it cannot be tampered with in your browser.
Your bank has its own dispute process. If you open a dispute for a reign that did not break the rules, the answer we give is this page.
This is a novelty
It is an internet novelty, not advertising, not an investment, and not a service with a support tier. If you were hoping for ROI, this is the wrong kingdom. Spend the dollar the way you would spend it on a postcard.
